Change the order of your nav links in your nav bar

This is really easy to do. You need to be running Thesis 1.5 v7…

151

152

Go to your Dashboard —->Appearance —->Thesis Options —->Navigation Menu…

153

Just click and hold between the boxes and you can drag them into whatever order you want.

Leaving a comment with code in it...

If you would like to leave a comment and you have examples of code you want to show, you must "escape the code". This allows the entire code to show correctly by inserting certain variable around certain tags to make them show. If you don't "escape the code" your code will show up broken, mangled, and it won't be able to be seen correctly. "Escaping the code" is very simple...

  1. Copy your code you want to show
  2. Click here to go to the site to escape the code
  3. Follow the directions, it's so easy
  4. Once you have the escaped code copied, paste it in the comments area where you want
  5. Now you can enjoy life

“Unfortunately, your custom.css file does not appear to be editable by the server, so you will not be able to edit it via the OpenHook interface. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
I’m just trying to move the nav menu to below the header and Open hook plug – in gives me this message. Plus, I can’t open the file in Filezilla to do it manually. All I want to do is this and change the header, but I can’t seem to get the right files to open to insert the code.
help please!

If you want move the nav bar like you described just follow the tutorial listed in “nav bar” on the right sidebar under categories. You’ll see it at the bottom

What if you have a Category that is one of your tabs? It appears to default to putting the Category tab last. It is (indeed) very simple to order the pages. Any ideas on ordering the category with them?

Thanks!
